I have been to Thorpebank Road this weekend. This is the street, where they shot the New Cooker Sketch. Michael went there in the MontyPythonLand thing. And I found the house, which is number 94. If you remember, he knocked at the door but the woman was too young to remember so they knocked at no. 92 and the old man could remember the shooting. Then, Michael put this blue plaquette on the wall of no. 94, but when I went there, there was no sign of this blue thingie. Well, I guess the people who live there are not very interested in Python tourists. And this street was extremely quiet. I have hardly ever seen such a quiet street. You could have heard someone breathing, as I was walking through. Really not the place, to buy a new gascooker...
But I took a picture and after that I visited the BBC Centre, but I was only walking past, because there were too many frightening policemen. (does anybody know if there may be guided tours through the BBC?)
